No work is without its share of challenges. If we must strive for excellence, we must overcome, and we know this is effectively achieved through prayer. The prayer support of our partners has been one of the foundations of our work. Here are specific praise and prayer points for you:

Praise God that:

1.)  Good Shepherd Community Churches are meeting the needs of people from all walks of life in India

2.)  GSCC pastors are being trained and equipped to meet the spiritual needs of the people in their community

3.)  GSCC church members are growing in their faith and learning to embrace people from different regional and religious backgrounds

4.)  New teachers are receiving training  to provide excellence-based education to the Dalit children in the villages of India

5.)  Dalit Education Centres have brought tremendous growth and development to their communities

6.)  Many Dalits receive timely medical care because of the efforts of the Community Health Workers working at the Dalit Education Centers

7.)  Lives are being changed and transformed through the work of the Good Shepherd Urban Slum teams

Pray that:

1.)  Local pastors will experience God's protection and will keep in good health while they reach out to individual people groups and communities

2.)  GSCC church members will be protected from communal attacks

3.)  The Dalit Education Centres will grow and impact the communities in which they are located

4.)  Dalit children will excel in academics at the Dalit Education Centres

5.)  Community Health Workers who treat the sick in the villages will be protected from diseases

6.) Community Health Workers will spread greater awareness of hygiene and health in Dalit communities in the coming days
